ERMELO – A 25-year-old man was shot and killed at a car wash in Cwebezela, Wesselton on Friday, October 18.

According to Captain Carla Prinsloo, the spokesperson for the Ermelo police, the victim who was sitting at the local business with a group of friends, was approached by two men armed with pistols.

“The suspects fired shots at the man and he was hit several times,” Prinsloo said.

He died on the scene.

The suspects ran to a VW Polo without registration plates which was parked further down the road and fled the scene in the vehicle.
