Road to Ermelo’s landfill site requires careful manoeuvring

ERMELO – The access road to the local landfill site is a muddy mess as a result of the recent rains.

Highvelder was informed that the dumpsite was inaccessible, so it went to the location to investigate.

Drivers are advised to proceed cautiously because the road leading to the landfill site is very muddy and may cause cars to become stuck.

Only bakkies appeared to be able to find their way to and from the dumpsite in the time Highvelder was there.

Lukas Swanepoel, a local resident, recently told Highvelder that he wanted to close the access road because so many people were dumping their trash next to it.
