Ermelo roads rapidly deteriorating

ERMELO – Some motorists have to deviate from their usual routes to avoid the crumbling roads in town.

Locals frequently post images of municipal issues on a Telegram group to report them.

On every other intersection, people are seen trying to fill the potholes with sand and bricks.

This, however, is only a temporary fix, though, as the potholes emerged bigger and deeper following the most recent rain.

Additionally, some drivers become impatient with the pothole fillers as they toil in the middle of the road with their equipment.

Regarding the potholes, a resident stated, “Something will have to be done, it’s going to cause serious accidents.”
