{WATCH} – Massive tree topples and obstructs Camden Avenue

Van Wettens Towing Services and Spartan Training and Security were among the first to arrive to start clearing the obstruction.

Ermelo’s local services swiftly sprang into action following a fallen tree that obstructed Camden Avenue, just before the turn on to General Botha Road.

The incident occurred early this morning, August 21, when a large tree toppled over, obstructing both lanes of the street.

Van Wettens Towing Services and Spartan Training and Security were among the first to respond, arriving promptly to assess the situation and start clearing the obstruction.

Thanks to their swift efforts, one lane was soon cleared.

Shortly after, the Msukaligwa Municipality also arrived on the scene to lend additional support.

Mandla Zwane, municipal spokesman, has confirmed that the cleanup has been completed and the road is open again.
