Concerns grow as man with mental health issues disappears from farm outside Ermelo

ERMELO – A 40-year-old man has been reported missing at the Ermelo police station on May 30.

Gerdus Kemp went missing on May 29 at approximately 15:00 from a farm located outside Ermelo.

According to his mother, Anneke, he was last seen wearing brown pants, grey Crocs, a black jersey, and a light grey jacket.

She added that he suffers from mental health issues, and this is not the first time he has gone missing.

“Previously, people have found him wandering around and contacted us, but this is the longest he has ever been missing,” said Kemp.
