Man hands himself over to police after shooting incident in Ermelo

The suspect along with his lawyer went to Ermelo police station.

The suspect in the murder of Smangaliso Innocent Nkosi (25), which took place on November 12 at a filling station in Ermelo, has handed himself over to police.

According to Captain Carla Prinsloo, spokesperson for Ermelo police, the man and his lawyer were at the police station earlier today, November 15.

Highvelder previously reported about Nkosi being shot and killed in a cold-blooded attack that was caught on CCTV footage.

The shooting occurred between 01:00 and 02:00 when a group of men were at a local filling station on November 12.

It is unclear what transpired before the victim was shot.
