Scouting at Merino Mall

In a bid to cast a wider net, HGT will host a scouting session at the Merino Mall on March 9, aiming to reach talent beyond the school environment.

Aspiring performers between the ages of five and 19 are encouraged to participate in this exciting opportunity.

Steps for Participants

  • Singing: Participants can bring a Bluetooth speaker for backing sounds, use their phone, or perform acapella.
  • Dancing and Modeling: Participants may bring a Bluetooth speaker or use their phone for music during their performance.

Coaching and development programme

Shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to attend a coaching and development program before the grand finale.

Spreading the word

Organisers urge community members to spread the word and encourage talented individuals to take part in the event.

The event promises not only exposure but potential opportunities for selected participants to further their careers in the entertainment industry.

Event coordinator Marc Paterson highlights the event’s role in creating links between participants and the private sector to foster upliftment and development opportunities.

Whether it’s singing, dancing, acting, or modeling, HGT offers Ermelo’s talents a chance to shine and take their first step toward a career in the spotlight.
