ERMELO – Amal Sindhi, a Grade Three learner of Summerfields Private School, recently found a love of spreading kindness and charity after she had participated in a competition at school.

During this competition, she did not make it to the next round, but it left in her a love of doing good to others nevertheless.

She chose the topic ‘the importance of kindness’ for her speech.

Spreading kindness to those in need sparked a love of charity work in this little girl who wants to carry it forward to others.

She then helped Gerda Smuts at Prism School by donating items for the children who suffer from cerebral palsy, and shared warm clothing, shoes and toys with the children at the CMR Child and Youth Care Centre.

“If everyone only does one small act of kindness every day, the world would be a better place,” Amal said.
