Lindile Secondary School has launched a sanitary pad drive to support girls and help ensure they remain in school.

The school is appealing to parents, guardians, teachers, community members and organisations to support its Sanitary Pad Donation Drive by donating menstrual hygiene products to learners in need.

The school says the initiative is aimed at ensuring that no learner misses school due to a lack of sanitary products.

Those who are able to assist are encouraged to donate a pack of sanitary pads. Any brand or quantity will be highly appreciated.

Donations can be dropped off at the school reception and will be distributed confidentially and with dignity to learners who require assistance.

The school has appealed for support as it works to ensure that its girl learners can maintain their dignity, confidence and full attendance throughout the school year.

In addition to sanitary pads, the drive is also seeking panty liners and other suitable menstrual hygiene products.

The initiative is intended to provide practical support to girls while helping them remain focused on their education without having to worry about access to essential menstrual hygiene products.
