A few days ago I almost lost my precious life.

After reading in the weekend newspapers about the horrific state in which most of our hospitals are, I feel so privileged to share with you that we here in Ermelo can be assured of excellent and professional treatment at the Mediclinic.

It is good to know that from the reception to the nursing staff, our little “vampire”, the counsellor to the floor cleaner – the hospital cannot operate without any of you.

Sister Fourie, Dudu and Hazel, I don’t know you personally, but I hope you know that God has blessed you all with a special talent.

To the staff at surgery and my team of doctors – we have come a long way together by the will of God. Doctor “T”, you have surpassed yourself. Lastly but most importantly, most of us are aware of a large and well-known hospital in Pretoria that holds an award for their excellent cuisine. I believe they will not be able to compete or go the extra mile to cut one’s meat and find the time to feed an unknown patient.

I humbly thank you.
