Learners adapt to new normal
These Grades will all alternate weeks, spending one week in the physical classroom and one week doing 'School @ Home' remote learning.
St Benedict School Grade Rs, 1s, 3s and 5s all returned to school on Monday, 8 June.
Things went smoothly and even the little ones surprised the teachers by how well they adapted to the ‘new normal’. The Grade 2s, 5s and 6s went back on Monday, 15 June.
“These Grades will all alternate weeks, spending one week in the physical classroom and one week doing ‘School @ Home’ remote learning. In this way, no more than 50 per cent of the student body will be on the school campus at any one time,” said head of primary school, Gill Rayner.
