Pedestrian duo badly injured

TWO men sustained severe injuries after they were knocked down by a vehicle on Dinkleman Road in New Germany on Tuesday 30 July.

The two young men were believed to have been possibly trying to cross the road when a car collided into them. Hillcrest paramedics were called to the scene and found both men lying on the centre median of the road with severe injuries including multiple broken bones and suspected back and neck injuries.

Paramedics stabilized the injured men on the scene, they were treated for their injuries and were transported to RK Khan hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not injured but the car sustained extensive damage.
