St Mary’s celebrate spring

Sping was in the air at St Mary DSG annual Sping Fling.

CROWDS flocked to celebrate spring at St Mary DSG’s annual Spring Fling on Saturday.

Children and adults alike were well entertained on the day with various foods and item stalls, a beer garden, Zorb Balls and a variety of child play zones which added to the fun of the day.

St Mary pupils were also given the opportunity to compete in a cake decorating competition to raise funds for the Keep Kloof

Beautiful Association, as well as a spring themed hat competition.

S.M.I.L.E (St Mary’s Interactive Learning Experience) will receive a percentage of the funds raised at the Spring Fling. S.M.I.L.E is a national, community-based organisation that evolved as a result of an urgent need in education to develop the English language skills of Zulu speaking learners and their teachers.
