Riding high

Hillcrest High School are doing well in the equestrian arena.

HILLCREST High School’s equestrian team comprising of Jessica Stapelberg, Chelsea Olivier, Natasha Rothman, Kimberleigh Hill, Caitlin Rossenrode and Melissa Schoeman recently won the KZN SANESA High School 13 – 15 year age group competition.

This group competed against schools with five to eight horse/rider combinations that took part in the KZN regional qualifiers this year where points were awarded to the riders at each qualifier, based on their placings in the various equestrian disciplines.

Earlier this year, the team won the showjumping, turnout and dressage events at the KZN Inter-Schools competition.
