THE New Germany Lutheran Pre-Primary School recently held a fundraiser fun day to support the Sunflower Fund.

The young pupils and their parents were encouraged to buy a Sunflower Fund bandanna and to make a small donation of any amount.

“The aim of the fundraiser was to teach our pupils about fundraising and the value of assisting others that are less fortunate,” said Angela Laglia, the school’s principal. The school managed to collect approximately R1 000.
