Three men rob Hillcrest Post Office

THE Hillcrest Post Office on Nqutu Road was robbed on Wednesday 6 November at approximately 9.30am of an undisclosed amount of money.
According to Lt France Mkhize, of Hillcrest SAPS, three robbers parked in front of the post office and two of the men entered the post office through the back entrance, dressed in post office uniform, and requested to speak to the manager.
“It is assumed that the attendant assumed that the guys were post office employees and so called the manager.
Once the manager came to the front of the post office one pulled out a gun and demanded the manager open the safe,” said Mkhize.
The robbers subsequently fled the scene and no arrests have been made.
