EDITOR – I am wondering if anyone else is rather appalled at the conditions that the Postmistress and staff of the Linkhills/Waterfall Post Office have to work under.
Surely the powers-that-be of the General Post Office had enough warning to organize a permanent and safe new spot for our post office? I am not sure that it is a safe environment for them as well as their customers, especially anyone wanting to collect their post after hours.
I also believe that every Thursday the septic tank gets pumped out which is right in front of them and the smell is awful. One can only wonder.
