THE Focus on Ithemba Academy pupils were treated to an extra special, magical Christmas party.

The rolling mist, enhanced the magic of the moment as Santa Claus (local equestrian, Dave Leslie) arrived in his horse drawn carriage laden with gifts and pulled by his white pony, appropriately named “Angel”.

Their were screams of excitement as the children received their gifts which consisted of a toy, toiletries and stationary. The party was made possible thanks to the generosity of

Hirsch’s Hillcrest, Spar Head Office, Unilever and Shell in Hillcrest.

“We are deeply grateful to our generous sponsors for making today possible. The lives of these children is not always easy and events like these help to give them hope,” said Sarah Brauns, Hirsch’s Hillcrest PRO.
