GPS run for fun

GILLITTS Primary School hosted its annual Athletics Meeting on Friday 28 February.

The pupils were divided into three teams and joyfully competed against each other in the in house athletics event.

The Starling House won first place with a total of 70 points. Second place was awarded to the Flamingo House who accumulated 60 points, and the Robin house took third place with 42 points.

Asher Botolo (Robin House) and Yomelela Ndawo (Flamingo House) won the boys’ and girls’ 800m races, respectively. Ndumiso Mkhize, a star performer at the event, won three races, including the 100m and the 200m races.
