Charity ball for Sunflower Fund
Support the Sunflower Fund's eighth annual Charity Ball at the Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel in Durban on Friday 9 May at 6.30pm.
KNOWN for its snazz, pizzazz and all that jazz, the eight annual Sunflower Fund’s Charity Ball in association with IBV International Vaults, takes place at the Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel on Friday 9 May with the purpose of paying tribute to the selflessness, kindness and compassion of humanity.
Stephanie Berry, the public relations officer for the Sunflower Fund said in many ways, becoming a bone marrow stem cell donor epitomises those characteristics. All funds raised will be used to give hope to patients diagnosed with leukaemia or a life threatening blood disorder who are in need of a bone marrow stem cell transplant.
The doors to the elegant Great Ilanga Room, Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel, open at 6.30pm and tickets are available at R650 each or R6500 for a table of 10 which includes KWV sparkling wine on arrival, a gourmet three-course meal, a gift for each woman from Elizabeth Arden and a night of amazing entertainment.
