Flower displays raise money for MS

Unique and creative ways to use flowers featured at "flowers through Crowhurst"

THE KZN Association of Flower Arrangers (KZNAFA) in conjunction with the Judges Panel hosted the popular ‘Flowers through Crowhurst’ in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of South Africa – KZN branch.

The beautiful Crowhurst Manor rooms were splendidly decked out with creative and original floral art works from the members of the various KZN floral clubs.

A unique feature was a florally decked out wedding vehicle in the grounds of the Manor done by Pam Harvey, Hennie Avellini and Sandy Talbot from Durban Floral Art. Another stand out feature was mannequins wearing floral creations.

There were also stalls to browse and fashion shows and cooking demos which were well attended.

Although sales were down on last year, Marieke Ric-Hansen, Secretary of KZNAFA said they had received lovely feedback from those who attended.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of South Africa – KZN branch can be contacted on 083 798 0430 or email: mskzn@multiplesclerosis.co.za.
