Free rabies shots from state vet
Free inoculations against rabies for pets of the Pinetown, New Germany, Wyebank,Westville and Reservoir Hills areas.
PET owners are urged to inoculate their cats and dogs against rabies in an inoculation campaign hosted by the state vet, free of charge.
The dates, and venues where people may take their pets for free inoculations, are:
*Thursday 24 April from 8.30am to 10.30am at the Pinelands Tennis Club, 10.30am to 11.30am at the Playlot in Clover Crescent, 12pm to 1pm at the Japanese Gardens parking lot (Underwood Rd) and 1.30pm to 2.30pm at the playlot at the intersection of Vivian Road and Caber Road)
*Friday 25 April from 8am to 9.30am at the Ashley Sports Club parking lot, 10am to 11am at the Ashley Primary School parking lot and 11.30am to 1pm at the Pine Valley Centre (Pick n Pay parking lot).
*Monday 5 May from 8.30am to 10am at the Sailor Road Library car park, 10.30am to 11.30am at the Open Field opposite Wyebank clinic and 12pm to 2pm at the New Germany Clinic (open field below clinic).
*Tuesday 6 May from 8.30am to 10.30am at the Westville North Library and 11.30am to 2pm at the Westville Civic Centre parking lot.
*Thursday 8 May from 8.30am to 9.30am at the playlot in Karley Close, 10am to 11am at the sports field in Halpin Avenue and 1pm-2pm at the playlot opposite Ameens shopping centre in Reservoir Hills.
*Also on Thursday 8 May from 8.30am to 9.30am at the playlot in McClarty Road, 10am to 11am at the playlot in Hatfield Road, 11.30am to 12.30pm at the end of Whitaker Road-Umgudulu Road and 1pm to 2pm at Juba Place.
