School girls support charity projects

St Mary's Grade 7s are helping the less fortunate.

THE Grade 7 St Mary’s girls have been hard at work helping the less fortunate.

Every year each Grade chooses a charity to support. This year the Grade 7s opted to support the Robin Hood Foundation with its various projects.

Term one saw them focus on the Ethelbert Children’s Home and The Love the Babies project. The Grade 7 girls collected a mountain of chocolate marshmallow eggs which they delivered to the Home on Saturday, 12 April.

They also appealed to the Primary School to donate any second hand baby items for the Robin Hood Foundation’s Love the Babies project. They had a great response from the rest of the school, with all the items filling a half ton bakkie to capacity.

If you’d like to get involved with the Robin Hood Foundation, contact Kim Griffith Jones on 076 612 9060 or email robinhoodfund@telkomsa.net.
