St Mary’s pupils enjoy a fun morning walk

Bright funky colours and lots of laughter were evident at the St Mary's Big Walk.

The St Mary’s Maytime Bella & Boo Big Walk held at the school was a fantastic, fun morning for walkers and spectators alike.

The primary school girls unified in their grades by dressing in the same colour and singing their own war cry to get into the racing spirit. Some of the girls also sported fun character outfits to make the day even more enjoyable.

“The St Mary’s Parents Society would like to thank the main sponsor Maytime Bella & Boo, the many companies who donated prizes for the junior and senior primary school girls and the many parents who helped,” said Tenley Cummings on behalf of St Mary’s DSG.

A percentage of the money raised will be donated to the school’s charity, S.M.I.L.E. whose aim is to help isiZulu pupils improve their English language skills.
