More snow expected in KZN

More snow is expected in parts of KwaZulu-Natal this evening.

The Drakensberg border of KwaZulu-Natal as well as the midlands could experience more snowfall later this evening into the early hours of Tuesday, according to snow watch site Snow Report.

Fleeting snow hits KZN

The website reports a probability of snow falling in certain parts of the KZN midlands such as Fort Nottingham, Impendle, Mooi River and Rosetta, which means temperatures are likely to remain low at least until tomorrow, so stay warm.

Frost and snow have been reported in parts of the KZN midlands today due to an intense cold front sweeping across the country, with some excited locals snapping photos of the rare (at least in KZN) winter phenomena and posting them on Twitter.
