Pedestrian seriously injured in Botha’s Hill accident
A man suffered severe injuries after being struck by a car.

A man in his 30s is in a critical condition after being hit by a car on Old Main Road in Botha Hill on 9 July.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the patient lying in the road. A small crowd had gathered around the injured man. He was assessed and found to have sustained serious injuries to his legs and back.
Metro services had to close two lanes of the road to allow paramedics a safe area to work.
Advanced life support was performed on the patient and he was thereafter transported to RK Khan Hospital for further medical treatment.
The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate the cause of the incident.
