Security tightened at Pinetown child welfare

Trellidor made a hearty donation to a local NPO after its most recent devastating break in.

AFTER the devastating break in at the Pinetown Child and Family Welfare Society, Trellidor decided to step in and make a donation that would strengthen the security on the property.

The donation ensured that all of the main access doors were upgraded to a triple lock system, five new Trellidor gates were installed and the fire exit door was strengthened against a further break in attempt.

According to Pragasen Govender, the franchise owner of Trellidor Durban West, the donation to the Welfare was a no brainer.

“Our ethos is that every South African has the right to feel safe, if we did not make the donation to this worthy cause, it would be highly irresponsible,” said Pragasen.

The team said the Welfare falls under its area of operation and the team went through to the premises to assess the damages and noted that all the key points to the building had been broken into, and it was these points that they knew had to be reinforced with stronger security gates.

“We are just glad that we could assist them with tightening their security,” said Pragasen.

Nirmilla Pather, director at the Pinetown Child and Family Welfare said they are very grateful for the donation.

“Alone we can do so little but together we can do so much. This donation has restored some of our faith in human kind after the break in and we feel a lot safer with the new gates,” said Nirmilla.
