Charity beauty pageant huge success

"Jeans and High Heels for charity” was well supported.

There was a good turnout at the “Jeans and High Heels for charity” event hosted by Simply Events in conjunction with Mrs KZN 2014, Salome Gouws at Africa Whispers in Crestholme.

This was the first Miss Upper Highway beauty pageant held and due to its success will become an annual event.

Models travelled from as far as Richards Bay and Ballito to compete against the highway contestants for the titles. Modelling schools, La Bella, Trellique models, Le Vogue, Simply You nique, and Upstage also sent participants.

The overall winners were: Miss Upper Highway -Natalie Memory; Pre -Teen Miss Upper Highway – Kimberly Miles; Junior Miss Upper Highway – Jasmin Walters and Little Miss Upper Highway – Alexandra Lot.

“The judges, parents, and supporters were raving about the successful event, décor, flowers and gifts. The décor and set up were planned down to the smallest and finest detail,” said Mrs KZN 2014, Salome Gouws.

“It was fun, and praise God for a perfect day. I really would like to thank the sponsors and to all who supported – thank you for your love and heart warming support.”
