New novel opens world of adventure
The exciting second novel in The Legacy Trilogy was recently launched at Cap'n Chino in Hillcrest.
LOCAL author, Melissa Delport launched her second book in The Legacy Trilogy.
Book worms that attended the event were treated to a sumptuous breakfast, coffee and a copy of the latest book, The Legion.
Melissa then spoke about her journey to publication and her mounted excitement at launching the second book. “It is by far my favourite book of the three. With the first I had to lay down a back story and with the second one, I could just jump right into it,” said Melissa.
The first book, The Legacy, is set after World War Three and the world has tumbled into chaos until one man stood up in an attempt to lead the surviving people of America, but he is not all that he appears to be. The second book picks up four months after the events of the initial novel and is set to send the reader on a roller coaster ride of plot twists and adventure.
If you enjoyed The Hunger Games Trilogy or the Divergent Trilogy, this home grown series is a must read. Keep a look out for both of the reviews at the end of August.
Copies of the book are available at all leading book stores for R150. It is also available in ebook format for $4.79.
