Community atwitter over Pavilion shooting

Social media sites were atwitter with comments about the fatal shooting at the Pavilion Shopping Centre yesterday afternoon.

THE fatal shooting at the Pavilion Shopping Centre yesterday, in which two people died, has left the community reeling  from the shock.

According to Sgt Stephen Clark, media spokemsan for the Westville SAPS, Zain Sheik (27) entered the store where his ex girlfriend worked. It ‘s believed that they got into a confrontation before he produced a firearm and shot the woman.

“Forensics experts examined the scene, bodies and ballistic evidence. The firearm was seized to be further examined. A docket of murder and inquest has been opened and will be investigated,” said Clark.

Sissy Boy were contacted after the incident but declined to comment. The online community quickly took to their various social media sites to express their thoughts regarding the incident.
