Biker injured in Pinetown collision
ER24 paramedics and other emergency services attended the scene.
A BIKER was seriously injured in an accident on Mariannhill Road in Pinetown on Saturday afternoon.
According to Santi Steinmann, media spokesman for Netcare 911, paramedics found the seriously injured motorcyclist lying on the ground.
“Reports from the scene indicate that the motorcycle was leaving a service station when the motorcycle and motor vehicle collided,” said Steinmann.
The motorcyclist was treated on scene and transported to hospital. The occupants of the motor vehicle were not injured during the accident.
The cause of the accident is not known but the local SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating.
