Home hosts women’s tea party

Sparks Estate Cheshire Home we will be holding a women's high tea party

SPARKS Estate Cheshire Home we will be holding a women’s high tea party on Saturday 8 November at 9.30am.

The home is a registered welfare facility providing care for 48 severely mentally handicapped children and some adults.

The Home was established in 1979 and caters for residents from all the communities in the KZN region. Wendy Maharaj, Sparks Estate Cheshire Home manager said, their staff is integrated and the Board of management members offer their voluntary services.

“Administrative and operating costs to maintain the home are very high and fundraising has become increasingly challenging,” said Maharaj.

This event is one of the home’s projects for this year and there will be some prizes for lucky draws, a raffle, and an American auction.

There will also be a motivational speaker.
