KZN colours awarded to Kearney basketball players
Two Kearsney College basketball players were awarded provincial colours.
Two Grade 10 Kearsney College basketball players, Kulhle Bophela and Thomas Westermeyer, were awarded provincial colours after they were selected to represent KwaZulu-Natal in the national U16 basketball trials in Gauteng.
The first round of the trials took place last weekend and both boys made it through to the second round.
Kuhle was also selected as one of the best players in the recent St John’s U16 Basketball Tournament.
