THREE people were injured, one seriously, when two vehicles collided just after 6am on Tuesday, 31 March at the intersection of the M7 and Wakesleigh Road.
This was on the same day a woman lost her life in a collision with a truck in near the Belleville Road bridge.
Rescue Care paramedics said they arrived on the scene to find the two badly damaged vehicles in the road.
“A quick assessment revealed that three people from both vehicles had been injured. Advanced life support paramedics stabilised the seriously injured driver on the scene before all three were transported to various Durban hospitals,” said spokesman, Garrith Jamieson.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision. However, SAPS was on the scene and will be investigating further.
