Donate bread tags and help promote mobility with wheelchairs

Drop off 67 bread tags or spend 67 minutes at the QASA headoffice this Mandela Day.

AN effortless action to collect bread tags can contribute to the success of the QuadPara Association of South Africa’s (QASA) Breadtags for Wheelchairs project. One million bread tags equates to three wheelchairs, and therefore QASA is encouraging residents to visit their offices, situated at 17 Hamilton Crescent, Gillitts and drop off bread tags on Friday, 17 July as their contribution to Mandela Day.

Ari Seirlis, CEO of QASA, said, “We will make you a cup of tea and tell you all about the impact of the Breadtags for Wheelchairs project and the other projects and services that we provide for quadriplegics and paraplegics. We are calling on the public to collect these valuable items in order to make a difference and give mobility in the form of wheelchairs. Such a simple routine of collecting your bread tags makes a huge difference, and 17 July is the perfect day to come and introduce yourself to QASA and bring your contribution of bread tags to our office.”

Residents can either drop off 67 bread tags or spend 67 minutes at the QASA headoffice between 8am and 4pm.

For more information, contact Ari Seirlis on 031 767 0352 or visit www.qasa.co.za.
