Fifty learners at Hillary Primary were chosen on merit to represent their school in the competition.
GRADE 4 learners at Hillary Primary School took part in the SuperSport Let’s play challenge on Monday, 17 August, affording their school a chance at winning an upgrade of sporting facilities.
The school now qualifies to win an upgrade of its sporting facilities to the value of R 1.2 million that includes a multi-purpose sports field. In the interest of getting school children active in sports, SuperSport has challenged primary schools across the country to participate in their challenge to stand a chance at winning this fantastic prize.
Fifty learners at Hillary Primary were chosen on merit to represent their school in the competition. These learners were put through an obstacle course which they had to do twice within a 45 minute time frame, as quickly as possible for a place at the semi-finals, where the top three schools in the province would compete for a spot in the finals at national level.
