The Animal Anti-Cruelty League Durban, Artesia Farm, 53 Artesia Avenue in Leckhampton Valley, urges Upper Highway residents who are spring cleaning or moving, to donate their unwanted goods toward one of its income generation projects.
“Our Charity Shop is a little gem, with lots of little treasures, thrifty priced. We do, however, rely solely on donations to stock the shop,” said Judi Gibson, the general manager at AACL. “In order to raise funds we also have a lovely tea garden and charity shop, on our very own farm.” The tea garden is open each Saturday in conjunction with the open adoption days from 9am to 1pm.
Collections can be arranged or you can drop the goods off at the farm. To arrange for a collection, contact Paula on 031 736 9093 from Monday to Friday between 8am and 3pm or on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm.
“Animal Anti-Cruelty could not continue to care and protect the many animals in dire need, without the invaluable support of the general public,” said Judi.
