Pedal up a storm at Kloof SPCA

The Kloof and Highway SPCA recently opened up a cycle track for children under five years old.

THE Kloof and Highway SPCA recently opened its very own cycle track for children.

The Centipedes Cycle Track was professionally designed and created by the experts who helped create Giba Gorge’s cycle track. “We are most grateful for their assistance and input in implementing this fabulous cycle track,” said Lisa Gadd, the PR and outreach officer at the Kloof and Highway SPCA.

Children under the age of five are encouraged to take along their bikes, along with helmets, to enjoy the brand-new facility. The fee to ride is R30 per child and there is no limit on the duration of the ride. Parents and guardians are to supervise their children at all times. Contact the Kloof and Highway SPCA on 031 764 1212/3.

Rules of the track:

No children older than five are permitted to ride.

Helmets are essential and bikers may not use the track if they are not wearing a helmet.

All children riding on the track will be stamped with a fun icon to prove that payment has been made.
