A MOTORCYCLIST sustained injuries to the head when he went head-first into the back window of an SUV at the corner of Old Main Road and Cheriton Drive in Pinetown on Sunday, 10 April.
The exact circumstances as to what led to the incident are unknown, however it is understood that the man fell on the ground after he hit the window.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the vehicle on Cheriton Drive.
Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson, said the driver of the vehicle was standing next to the motorcyclist on Old Main Road.
The driver was not injured. The motorcyclist was treated for his injuries and transported to hospital.
Meanwhile, a man was lucky to escape with only minor injuries after he lost control of the truck he was driving on Westgate Place in Westmead, Pinetown earlier on the same day.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the truck lying on its side on the road.
Upon assessment by paramedics it was found that the man sustained minor injuries. He was treated and transported to the Crompton Hospital.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
