3 wounded in Pinetown truck crash
It is believed the truck was travelling down a steep hill when it veered off the road and crashed into the building.
THREE people were injured when a truck crashed into a building on Hillclimb Road in Westmead, Pinetown earlier this morning.
According to Chris Botha, Netcare 911′s media liaison officer, it is believed the truck was travelling down a steep hill when it veered off the road and crashed into the building.
“Paramedics and the Netcare 911 rescue officer arrived at the scene and found that a concrete pillar had snapped off and crushed the roof of the truck. Medics treated the injured and then transported them to a hospital in Hillcrest,” said Botha.
Police are investigating the accident.
