TV production – roads closures in Kloof and Durban
Roads to be closed from Thursday, 9 to Sunday, 12 June.

STILLKING Films is currently in pre-production for an international television commercial in the greater Durban metropolitan and outer west regions from Thursday, 9 to Sunday, 12 June.
The intention is to emulate and film a ‘marathon of life’ as the ‘race’ works its way out of the suburbs and into the city as we see the runners changing age groups as they grow older and their experiences change as life passes them by.
The production will exit the city onto the beachfront as they enter their golden years and the sun sets as they finish the race, ‘the story of life’.
This will entail specific road closures and pedestrian controls in certain areas for a safe filming environment. Resident and business access shall be granted as required.
Stillking Films will at all times endeavour to ensure the efficient passage of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic wherever possible, although delays of between five and 10 minutes should be expected. Emergency situations shall take precedence over all proceedings.
Below is a provisional filming schedule by way of public notice of certain road closures and diversions:

5am – 1pm: New Beach, bottom of Dr Pixley Kaseme Road at the intersection of OR Tambo Parade.
12pm – 6pm: Intersection of Rutherford Street, Gillespie Street and Rochester Street, South Beach
