Sponsor a butterfly to make a difference

Grace, a life-size statue made up of bronze butterflies, is a St Mary’s Foundation initiative.

STATUE Grace is a timeless piece of contemporary art by renown local sculptor Helena Vogelzang. This statue will be placed prominently in St Mary’s DSG for the enjoyment of Old Girls, parents, pupils, staff and visitors.

Grace, a life-size statue made up of bronze butterflies, is a St Mary’s Foundation initiative. Their role is to transform lives through the provision of financial support for girls whose lives will be changed by the education they receive through the bursary programme.

By making a donation of R 1 000 to sponsor a butterfly not only will you be part of this beautiful piece of contemporary art, but you can make a difference to a young girl’s life.

Each donor’s name will be listed on the bronze plaques that will be mounted on the base of the statue.
