Joyce snaps ellies for new book

The perfect bound book is a great coffee table filler.

SANDOWN Village resident, Joyce Peet, launched her second book, African Elephants, recently.

It took her about a month to put the book together and it is filled with a culmination of 30 years worth of photographs of elephants from Botswana and the Kruger National Park.

“The elephants are not aggressive in Botswana, you can get near them, and they will just walk on by. The elephants in Kruger are very restless,” said Joyce. “Elephants are endangered and it is important to have a record of such an incredible animal. I would love to encourage readers to go to the reserves as much as you can as it is such a unique experience.”

The book is 28 pages of full-colour and is available in paperback for R200 each. To order a copy, contact Joyce on 031 701 2847 to order a copy.
