Remote jammers hit Westville school

The men who are alleged to be the remote jammers were seen in a grey Toyota.

BLUE Security has warned parents to be vigilant when they pick up and drop off their children at school. This warning comes after a recent remote jamming incident at a Westville school.

The company’s operations manager, Brian Jackson, said a parent arrived at the school to drop off his child when the incident occurred on Monday at about 7.15am.

“The parent parked his car near the school and after exiting the vehicle he attempted to lock it. The vehicle would not lock and he looked around and noticed three suspicious men sitting nearby in a grey Toyota,” said Jackson.

“When the men saw the parent looking at them, they fled. After the men had driven off, the parent was able to lock his vehicle. Fortunately, the parent’s vigilance paid off in this case,” concluded Jackson.
