Brew, what a fund-raiser!
The fund-raising home brew beer festival, known as the Hillcrest Tops Durban Homebrewers Ales for Tails, was a hit with the Highway community.
A WHOPPING R68 130 was raised for the Kloof and Highway SPCA at its Ales for Tails fund-raiser.
The fund-raising home brew beer festival, known as the Hillcrest Tops Durban Homebrewers Ales for Tails, was a hit with the Highway community.
It was supported by Hillcrest Tops and Durban Homebrewers and all of the funds raised were donated to the local NPO.
“It was a stunning day enjoyed by all and we were entertained by some awesome bands and musicians,” said the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s PR and outreach officer, Lisa Mörck.
Audiences were entertained by Rocking Doctor, Catlike Thieves, the Name on the Drum, Rowan Stuart, The Sinners and No Fly Zone.
“A special thank-you to Warren Eades of Durban Homebrewers who came up with this idea and he, along with his team, did an incredible job, to Mike Egling of Hillcrest Tops for his sponsorship making this event possible, to the Durban Homebrewers for their support and to everyone who came and enjoyed the day with us – thank you,” said Lisa.
