ONE of Kloof High School’s matric learners, Trivenie Moodley, was selected for the South African biology team which will represent the country at the 28th International Biology Olympiad in the UK in July.
The team was selected from the top-performing learners from the 2016 Grade 11 Biology Olympiad as well as the results of the selection test, which was written on 19 January 2017.
“We can proudly say that Trivenie came second in the results. Each member of the team has to raise R30 000 to go to the UK and the school is looking for sponsorship to help her family send Trivenie to the competition. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for her and would appreciate any help she can get,” said the school’s principal, Dawn Lefort,
