Gardener robbed in Botha’s Hill

A gang of three armed men tied up the gardener and stole his cellphone and other goods.

A BOTHA’S Hill gardener was held up and robbed in broad daylight yesterday.

Blue Security’s operations manager, Brian Jackson, said three men armed with firearms and knives held up the gardener on a property in Clement Stott Road at around 2.20pm.

“The gang tied up the gardener and locked him in a room at the back of the house.”

“They fled the scene with his cellphone, a brush cutter and a 20 litre container of petrol,” he said.

No injuries were reported.
