Man dies after car smashes into crane in Pinetown
The man was declared dead on the scene by paramedics and the police have launched an investigation.
A MAN died when he crashed into a crane on Shepstone Road in Pinetown just after 3am this morning.
According to Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care, the paramedics who arrived at the scene noted that a single vehicle had veered off the road and had crashed into a construction site on the median.
“A single driver, believed to be in his 30s, had major injuries and unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do and he was declared dead on the scene,” said Jamieson.
The SAPS were at the scene and will investigate the cause of the accident.
