LISTEN: 3 injured in Field’s Hill crash

The infamous intersection at the bottom of Field's Hill has once again been turned into a scene of chaos after three trucks collided.

TWO days after the remembrance of the tragic Field’s Hill crash in Pinetown, which claimed the lives of 24 people, the infamous intersection along the M13 has once again been turned into a scene of chaos. Tuesday marked four years since the truck, driven by Sanele May, ploughed into five cars at the Field’s Hill Old Main Road off-ramp.

This morning emergency services were yet again called to the scene after three trucks collided at the Richmond Road intersection, causing one to overturn.

According to Rescue Care’s Garrith Jamieson, paramedics are treating three people who were injured in the accident.

Jamieson urged motorists to avoid the area, as traffic has been gridlocked.
