Dance squad brings home the bling

Countless hours of practice paid off for five of Highway dancers as they received top positions in an international dancing event recently.

A GROUP of talented dancers from the Kloof dancing studio, KZN Rhythm and Dance, took part in the World Dance Masters at the famous Winter Gardens.

Five competitors from the local dance group qualified to take part in the prestigious event.

Sara de Koning and Jessica Meyer were placed fifth in the showdance section and in the quads section Sara de Koning, Jessica Meyer, Gail Byng and Jamaine Thompson were placed fourth.

Wendy Watson was placed first in the newcomer section and Gail Byng took fourth place in the advanced section.

Sara de Koning also nabbed third in the advanced section while Zaeden de Koning won the tiny tots section.
